Architects create the overall aesthetic look of buildings and other structures. A building must also be functional, safe and economical and must suit the needs of the people who use it. Architects considers all these factors when they design buildings and others structures.

Their duties require specific skill in designing, engineering, managing, supervision and communication with clients and builders. Architects spend a great deal of time explaining their ideas to clients, builders, construction contractors and others. Successful Architects should be able to communicate their unique vision persuasively.

Licensing requires a professional degree in architecture, at least 3 years of practical work training and passing all divisions of the Architect Registration Examination.
