College of Nursing is one of the Departments of the Armed Forces Medical College at Pune established in the year 1964. The establishment of a college of Nursing was a landmark in the history of Military Nursing service as this institution is only one of its kinds in the armed forces set up in India. College of Nursing earlier was a School of Nursing at the Military Hospital Pune which was up graded in 1964 to its present status.
